I have been searching for a fragrance that is heady and animalic and I am so happy I found this. On first smell it is definitely barnyard/cheesy/wool but I find those funky notes are addictive and melt into my skin. It mixes with my skin so nicely and while I am wearing it the warm dry spicy woods really come out. It is resinous and has some dried raisin dried plumb in it. It has a creamy cedar/sandalwood to it and sometimes even some medicinal herbal/anise note. Every once in a while I get an unexpected cool green watery almost minty/mineraly note. This is definitely complex and beautiful to wear. I think it would blend really well with other fragrances but I have only worn it on its own because to me it feels like something you should really honour the purity of! Because it is an unexpected scent to wear in Canada I keep asking friends how much it projects and with the one dab that I wear it is not overpowering and really does melt into your skin.
