Interlock canvas is woven with a single horizontal thread wrapped by two vertical threads, ’locking’ the mesh at intersections giving the benefit of less distortion when stitching. Interlock canvas is lighter in weight than mono canvas. It is good for Bargello and other types of needlework in which there are lots of long stitches. It is also preferred for pieces requiring the canvas to be an unusual shape. This interlock canvas is 100% cotton and has 12 holes to the inch. It is used for tapestry, needlepoint, cross stitch and other types of needlework embroidery. Please note that due to Royal Mail size restrictions the canvas is sent folded.
