This fabric is a 22 count cotton Evenweave, woven with 2 threads both horizontally and vertically instead of the 1 thread in other Evenweaves, giving an effect of small blocks . Although this fabric is mainly used for stitching Hardanger embroidery, it is very popular for stitching cross stitch, making the design extremely small. Our 22 count Hardanger fabrics are 100% cotton and have been mercerised which gives them an easy-care finish. Forget-me-not Blue is similar in shade to DMC stranded cotton 157.
